Bubz has been taking Kendra's Bootcamp class for the past few weeks. He's been on Wes' zone diet plan. He's even been seen taking an occasional class with Bill on Saturday's. He spends his free time knocking heads with the Stripers rugby team. Here he works with Kendra to finish with a solid one rep max of 525#. Just click the lock to play the video.
Weslee Jade is our 9 year old daughter. She was inspired to compete in a grappling tournament after watching our athletes succeed at the North American Grappling Tournament in Springfield Mass. We are so proud of her determination and look forward to training her! Go Weslee Go!!!

MMA at Littlefield's is open for women athletes. Classes are on Wednesday from 6:30-8:00 and Thursday from 6:30-8:00. Beginners are welcome and NO experience or special equipment is necessary. Cost is $40/month or $50/month with a gym membership and one year contract. Some of the ladies will be participating in the New England NAGA Grappling Championships on May 29th in Massachusetts.

Littlefield's Gym is a full-service, family-owned fitness facility. The gym is open 7 days a week. Membership prices have been steady with no increases for the past 10 years. Wes, Kendra and the two "mini-fields", Weslee and Bodhi, operate the 10,000 square foot facility. Bill Getty teaches nutrition and fitness classes. Every Tuesday and Thursday starting at 3:30 the girls invade the pit for a fast and furious workout with Coach Littlefield. Stretching, warm-ups, plyometrics, bodyweight movements, and lots more are included in each class. Classes are open to girls in Junior and Senior High. Cost is $5. Four Stations - each station has 3 separate exercises
3 minutes of work at each station - but only one minute at each exercise
Twice through all four stations. One minute rest between stations. 3 minutes of rest between the first set of four and the second set of 4.
Station 1 Kettlebell Swing 35/25 - Stair Climb - Air Squat Station 2 Supercrunch - Burpee - Pullup Station 3 Box Jump 20" - Hammer Slam - 4-square Hop Station 4 Dumbbell Press 40/25 - Up/Down - Bag to Overhead/Shoulder
Keep one continuous count for all 3 exercises at your station... one total number for all 3 minutes, that's your score for the round. Try to keep your second time through as close as possible to your first time through. Keep focused on one minute of work at a time.
We all have hopes and dreams for our children to grow up healthy, happy, and lead a fulfilling life. How we parent our kids to that end and what each of those things really mean to each of us as individuals is certainly a matter of personal preference.
One of our members asked me if I'd seen this video of the "World's Stongest Boy". I did take some time to watch it and it brings up mixed feelings for me. If you have a couple minutes watch this boy's achievements and make a comment. I'm sure there will be many different viewpoints and as long as the discussion stays respectful, I think it's interesting to hear different viewpoints.
